Personality: Medrash hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. Medrash is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Barber. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She has achieved small success as a Barber.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: Matilda is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
