Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Werydd lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aelar embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Aelar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aelar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Dara has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
