History: He comes from a rich western family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Moon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bolhild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
