History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Gennal's homeland. Gennal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Anakis was born the youngest of three triplets. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bellfounder, and she later adopted a second daughter.
