Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Priest who has hired him part-time. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Emerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Gifted from a young age, Korfel studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.

When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Priest for the past few years.

History: She was born in the north. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Now she works as a writing tutor during her time off.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their son.
