History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Paelias never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Qemuel hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Qemuel was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
