History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Lia was taken on many hunting expeditions. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Malquis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kipper does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kipper fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats
