Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He stands about 5'11" and dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has done his best to style his yellow fur to look like a famous performer. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quick. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tod does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and gnomish compassion

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a fancy black dress. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her black eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson black hat.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Phelaia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
Motivation: She is greedy.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. When Claira reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
