Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Rael was born the youngest of three triplets. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mercenary profession.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His white fur is long and unkept. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many orcs want him driven away

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black fur is knotted and matted. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Seven lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
