History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: She wears a brown Stetson hat and brown clothes. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her auburn hair is long and unkept. Her violet eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: She is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Marastyr is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He sports a flattop hair cut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Veit was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by his family.
