History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

This search led her directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
