Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears brown trousers with grey and tan striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Seamstress, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Barrister again; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Jezebeth is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A gifted student she started as a Miner, but she got bored and became a Merchant. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She got into the Interpreter business at a young age. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
