History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. One day when Valida was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Valida was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Ivellios was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ethereal is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Ethereal was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ethereal's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

History: Tenena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Doctor, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by her family
