History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Serpent hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Serpent was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
