Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She is harsh and unforgiving.
History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it, and he perpetually has his quarterstaff ready. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Hunter born in the past three hundred years. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Born in the south to a Hunter, Suhnae learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Suhnae took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: This man wears a grey armored body suit, with a simple blue line shooting up and back down. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His eyes are brown and catlike.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Uraim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. She wears white leather gloves, a white jacket, and tight pants, marred by chocolates. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes are likewise green.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.
History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Merla grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Merla. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
