History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sellsword for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

History: He was born in a small plains village. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Spy job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He's in love; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born in the east. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He became a Beggar soon after.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she has a crush on the local barber
