History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tomi alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Vepar has worked very hard to control her curse. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
