History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and revenge

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 6'1". He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a hammer. He wears his brown hair up. This white eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Modean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Modean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, marred by sweets. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: Dain was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Healer.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kasdeya grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is physically well-built. She keeps her gray fur in a pixie cut. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a priest and was forced into it by her family
