History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She married young, but lost her spouse to gnolls. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp.
