Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Orryn hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Orryn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Personality: He is a Shepherd first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman tends to wear a large blue jacket. Her long chestnut hair reaches down to her waist. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gunnloda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a Blacksmith soon after.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Rolf was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: He was born in the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Volen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.
