Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He carries with him a set of maces on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. His white hair is lengthy. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are hazel.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Carter business.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Alvyn took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alvyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Vrondiss has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a Assassin, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Guard, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hillanot embodies much of what other species detest in the Dragonborns. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
