History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a shield on his belt. He carries a battered ceremonial dagger and tarnished shield as well. His white hair is braided into rings. His eyes are hazel.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kilvar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Soveliss's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When Soveliss reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Aerdeth was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aerdeth's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Aerdeth and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: This slender woman stands about 2'10". She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.
History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: To unite with her sister; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears a violet shirt, with a black mid length skirt with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. Her white hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.
Personality: Xanaphia hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Xanaphia took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Crown-heir who has hired her part-time. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. During her travels, Hadwisa and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hadwisa discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hadwisa fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Helja was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Helja decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
