When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Silvo was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Anne alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
