History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Verin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Vassago was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Vassago decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
