History: The child of a Glassblower, who enjoyed hunting, Smoking was taken on many hunting expeditions. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but she was a colossal failure. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available she will default to her nunchaku. Her hair is blonde and curly. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.
History: Cora lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a longsword on his belt. His black hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nákra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Chad and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'4". He wears dull red sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed dagger, just in case. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are a pleasant blue.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Engraver business.
History: Ombul lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a brown vest and prefers black and grey shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her ears are large.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: She was born in a small island village. Through the years after Ahlyssa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ahlyssa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Ahlyssa was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
