Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarai embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Sarai and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Lewis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Lewis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eloise fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Maagog hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Maagog was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Maagog's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Maagog was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
