History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. In her youth she was a Navigator, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: She got into the Servant business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Herbalist, but she got bored and became a Assassin. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Through the years after Bree was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bree's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bree and her spouse have recently divorced.

She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Farideh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, her father struggled to pay the bills. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Barkeep for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a fortune-teller again

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Caelynn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Caelynn. She became a Engraver soon after.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Dynamic was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and someone believes her a fraud
