History: Gifted from a young age, Emmeline studied abroad. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. Her hair is blue and very short. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gold.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. A true patriot, Astaro would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Astaro grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Astaro. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Nala hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.
