She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Sarai lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Doctor. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and seeks redemption

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barkeep but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Naill's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Naill is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Paymon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She is a Merchant first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She tends to her Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job
