Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She usually wears her brown robe and has her trident always slung over her shoulder. Her hair is silver and very short. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Helja embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.
History: Helja was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. She struck the Seamstress job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'0". She wears suspenders and brown workpants. Her shirt is grey, and she wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. She has no hair. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has wavy lavender fur. His eyes are likewise yellow. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Spear was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is greedy.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gimble studied abroad. Through the years after Gimble was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gimble's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This tall, slender man typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Orryn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break
