Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has styled her black hair well, parting it to the right. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Theirastra was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theirastra's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing a long, green cloak. His black hair is singed and shortened. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greatsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the left. He is baby faced.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarion grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Tiaathque was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is content.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
