History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the west to a Mason, Grigi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She became a Mason soon after.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dariff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is greedy.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Theriatis was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Stableman. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Gale was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. A true patriot, Gale would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
