Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a hand crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a grey shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Gardain was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Gardain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gardain's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Cumpen is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Cumpen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and many gnolls want her driven away

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she prefers to wear white pants and tee shirts. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.
Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Lagazi is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Lagazi was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Tethren reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
