History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Dean was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dean's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: Sarai lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has achieved small success as a Beggar.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tomi does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Tomi reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
