History: Born in the north to a Bounty Hunter, Ownka learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ownka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ownka. She now owns her own business.

History: Leaf hails from a village terrorized by illithids. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
