Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Morkral was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Animal Trainer who has hired her part-time. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sapply hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Sapply and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. He struck the Healer job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
