History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption
