History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A freak accident while working with her Slave Trader mother left her crippled. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Armorer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Armorer. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Armorer for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is greedy

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sapply grew up listening to his father's many stories. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she feels kind of lost in life

History: Gifted from a young age, Kildrak studied abroad. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Clerebold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Clerebold. Being a Courier kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
