History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Therlin grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Zûgor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: The child of a Miller, who enjoyed hunting, Baelitae was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with her Miller mother left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Chaedi was born with her father's beautiful face. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Performer.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to share knowledge with the world
