Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Shax was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: She was born into a rich family. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting orcs, the young Hecat began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and money/treasure

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thoradin grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
