History: Valida was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the west to a Stableman, Shaká learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To be a Fortune-teller again.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rolf is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Rolf was born with his father's beautiful face. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Tethren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
