History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Seraphina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Seraphina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Seraphina. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She got into the Carter business at a young age. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has worked as a Carter like her father before her.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Justin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in the west to a Junk Dealer, Hirrathak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Junk Dealer.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Marshal kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Kelter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
