To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Astar. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Sapply isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sapply grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by her family; and she is unsatisfied with her job
