Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born in a small island village. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Baker. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and further expansion of business

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Darrak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Darrak has worked very hard to control his curse. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She is a Mortician first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
