Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miner profession.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Spring embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: She was born in a small mountains village. She worked as a nervous Seamstress and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Seamstress like her mother before her.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has a hunchback. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Nija's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Nija enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nija grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Nija was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nija decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her hair is red and curly. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Silgre is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She carries with her a set of whips, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lilith grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lilith. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lilith fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and seeks redemption
