History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Harann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Being a Blacksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his son

Description: An older man who dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, he is not a threatening figure. His fur is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Shifting was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shifting decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often
