Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His white hair is cut short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Watson enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This dark-skinned male wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears his blonde hair down. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Blacksmith who has hired him part-time. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants a kiss

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull black iron scale mail. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly greataxes and spears. His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Marigold reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she has money and likes to spend it
