History: She was born in a small island village. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She tends to her Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ownka's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Born to a Priest, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Adventurer. He's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to be a glassblower again

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. His gold eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She carries a battered longbow and tarnished quarterstaff as well. She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age her father died while driving off some gnolls. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in quarterstaff use. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jillian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
