Personality: Hadwisa is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A true patriot, Hadwisa would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hadwisa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now mingles about in high society.

Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Fragrant and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
