History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maagog grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Maagog was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Maagog's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Salasar hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Taklinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
